Region Hamburg: New job outline initiated

It’s a truism, of course: a company is only as good as its employees.

EOS takes this truism very seriously, however. That’s why we were the first financial services company in Germany to cooperate with the Chamber of Commerce, the vocational college Berufsschule Hamburg, the Federal Association of German Debt Collectors (BDIU) and a number of debt collection companies to bring a new job outline into being: office administrator with an additional qualification in debt collection.

The objective of this specialized vocational training course is to meet the complex requirements of the industry. For three years, the trainees are familiarized with the subject matter of office administration before going on to deal with the basic concepts of debt collection, its history and its significance for the market economy. They get to know the dunning instruments, are trained in negotiation from a psychological perspective and receive a basic legal grounding.

The initiative’s success has been impressive: EOS alone has been able to take on 90 percent of the trainees. If you’d like information about the training course, please contact Bettina de Virgilio on

Ongoing training at EOS

The employees, too, can attend regular training courses at the in-house EOS Academy. Every year, an extensive programme involving such features as the company’s youth promotion activities, management courses or computer training is developed and all the employees can choose the areas that suit them best.
